We are a passionate branch of volunteers who support cats in need or owners in need of assistance.
If we are not in a position to help you, we will signpost you to other organisations who can.

The prinicple aims of our charity are:

NEUTERING  of cats and kittens as we believe this will help reduce the number of unwanted and stray cats as well as having many health benefits for male and female cats. Please check out the details of our neutering assistance.

REHOMING of cats. We have limited fostering facilities but we are working with our adoption centres in Warrington and St. Helens to rehome cats that need this. We are always looking for the best outcome for cats. Sometimes rehoming is not appropriate. We will assess each situation and offer advice. Cats we offer for adoption will have had a full veterinary package ensuring peace of mind and good value.

EDUCATING people on the needs of cats and how to care for them through giving education talks and offering advice.

Cats Protection has been making a positive difference to cats lives since 1927. With 250 volunteer run branches and 30 adoption centres and continuing to grow to meet the increasing demands placed upon us.

Cats Protection helps around 200,000 cats and kittens each year which is over 500 cats and kittens every day on average.  This is a huge number and while we are rightly proud of our achievements, we know more cats need our help.
