Adopt a cat

We offer cats and kittens in our care for adoption. They will be vaccinated, flead, wormed and neutered (if old enough) before they come to you. Our adoption fee of £55 is a contribution towards the veterinary cost of ensuring the cat is in tip top condition before you take them home. We welcome enquiries via our website and social media. We will speak to you by phone to discuss your circumstances and the kind of cat that would fit with your family. This is a process of ‘matching the right cat to the right home’ and will include a home visit.

Sometimes people ask for our help to rehome their own cats and are happy to continue looking after them until a new owner can be found. These will be advertised as home to home cats. The owner will be given the contact details of people enquiring about their cat and will make the decision on any future home. These cats will not have had the veterinary preparation for adoption that our own cats receive and there will be no fee for these adoptions.

UPDATE:  Due to some staffing changes we are currently concentrating on the neutering of cats, therefore, there will be no cats available for adoption directly from the Bolton and Radcliffe branch of the Cats Protection League for the time being.  Home to home cats will continue to be posted on the website so please do get in touch if you are interested in one of them, thank you.
